Short first impression
There I am. Too tired to write a real update. So a short first impression is coming up.
Yesterday I left Amsterdam, packed my bag last minute, drunk coffee with Alinda and without thinking about what was coming up, I went to Brussel. Already feeling tired before the actually journey had started, I put myself in the plane. I had an ok flight and came around midnight in Casablanca. I wished I was already in Bamako but the second flight was coming up. Luckily this one was better; I slept for at least two hours after having an african dinner.
Then I came in Bamako. I was so happy at that moment! The airport was surprisingly small, there was only one lugagething and when I entered the hall I already saw Clazien waiting for me. I even didn't go to the passportcontrol! So I felt really welcome and one day here proved the mum of Ingrid is such a warm person. Ok, so we were waiting for my lugage but as my dad already thought... it wasn't there! And it still isn't! So my two bags with all the necessary stuff are missing. Tomorrow are some phonecalls coming up, and my travelplan has to be changed. Oh well, we just have to flexible. So at around 4:30 at night we waited at a small office where one men was taking notes of the complaints about the lugage. So...
Afterwards we went home with the private cardriver and two lost english backpackers to the house of Ingrids parents. At 6:00 I laid down in bed, and I disappeared in a deep sleep.
Today I realised where I am. In a beautiful country, 40 degrees, lots of green and in a beautiful diplomatshouse. Today I woke up, walked to the kitchen and got immediatly some help from Aisha, the help in house. I had breakfast in the garden, with waving palmtrees. Jajaja... I even swum with the bikini of Clazien in the pool. Then we had to go to the pharmacie to buy extra malariapills because as you'll understand, they were in my missing bags. But when we went out the gates I saw a different and beautiful Africa. All women in traditional clothing with things on their had. A lot of markets next to the road. Too much scooters on the road. Some homelessguy wandering the street. A lot of fruits. It was so different, so awesome! Afterwards I shaked some hand of the guard, the wellknown salesman across the road, the gardener etc.
I also went to a viewpoint where you could see the whole city. It's awesome here. But by walking in teh heat and with a little bit of a headache I realised I need a good night of sleep before I start my trip.... Hours of busrides, and tracking in the Dogon... And probably it's already gonna happen tomorrow!

Is toch iets minder!
Geniet van alle mooie dingen daar!
